The Atrium Art Gallery Presents:

At The Legacy at North Augusta, we believe art enriches daily life by fostering joy, connection and inspiration. Located on the second floor of the community, The Atrium Art Gallery showcases the work of talented local artists throughout the year.

From September 9 through November 12, 2026, the gallery will feature the work of six photographers affiliated with the Staunton Photography Club and the Shenandoah Valley Art Center in Waynesboro, Virginia:

Guests are invited to attend an artist reception celebrating the photographers, their creativity and the power of visual storytelling.

Featured Artists

Cara Ellen Modisett is an Episcopal priest at Trinity Staunton, a collaborative pianist and an essayist. She is also a former magazine editor and college instructor.

Deborah Pugh presents The Keeper of the Secret Selves: Photography as a Counter-Narrative to Ageism, an exhibit that explores aging through a thoughtful and empowering lens.

Margaret Johnson is a lifelong photography enthusiast, professional stock photographer and co-leader of a local camera club.

Eileen O’Rourke is a photographer affiliated with the Shenandoah Valley Art Center whose work highlights rural life, nature and coastal landscapes.

Matt Diley, a Staunton resident, has been a photographer for 16 years. His work focuses on wildlife, landscape and travel photography.

Michael Ward is a photographic printmaker from Staunton, Virginia, specializing in the platinum-palladium process, which produces finely toned, archival-quality prints with remarkable depth. Ward has been passionate about photography since childhood, particularly during his time in Japan.
